Thimble & Axe LLC was founded by Ty Sobol in 2018 with one goal: To make heirloom quality clothing and accessories with quality materials, and meticulous craftsmanship. We never set out to be a huge brand: on the contrary… The goal was for an individual maker to carefully craft each piece.

In this fast paced world where can be hard to tell what is real or AI generated, we’re here to help. Slow down, move with intent, and make beautiful things with your own hands.

Our Promise:

We do not use AI for anything. Our photos, videos, sewing patterns, or anything else you see with a Thimble & Axe logo was made with Ty’s hands. Albeit, sometimes made rather poorly like our video editing or the website you’re reading this on, but everything we make is done through learning, studying, trying, talking to those with more experience, falling short or in some cases failing, and trying again and again… Things wont always be perfect, but they will always be made by a person- Ty
